Thirty kilometers from Marrakech, nestled in the arid lands of the Agafay mountains, La Pause is a dream imagined by Frédéric Alaime and his wife. On seven hectares of desert and hidden in the hollow of a verdant wadi, four adobe houses shelter a handful of rooms lit by candlelight. Wool carpets, brassware, sling cushions, linen canopies … the decoration is both simple and sophisticated in order to create a universe linked to the magnificent landscapes of the Agafay and the Atlas mountains.
